Can you sew, but often struggle with inserting zips and achieving a professional finish.
This workshop will teach you how to insert differing types of zip with professional techniques for a perfect finish. You will learn how to insert an invisible (concealed zip) which can be used to fasten skirts, trousers and dresses. How to insert a fly zip for trousers. Learn how to insert a zip pocket opening as well as how to apply a decorative zip. You will make samples of each type of zip, so you take them home and refer to them again. 
 
You will need to have some experience of using a sewing machine.
 
All materials, tools and equipment will be provided.
 
Help yourself to tea, coffee, biscuits and delicious cake, throughout the session.... to keep those creative juices flowing.

  • Once made, a booking cannot be transferred to an alternative date. If for any reason you are unable to attend please feel free to send a substitute. If you book a workshop for several days duration please make sure you can attend all days. Please check the dates carefully prior to booking.


    All workshops/courses must be paid for in full prior to the workshop start date. Payment can be made by cash, PayPal, credit/debit card or cheques. Whether booking by post or online you are acknowledging that you have read and accept the terms and conditions. Once a booking has been made, you will receive a confirmation email and information about any materials or equipment required.

     

    Cancellations by you:  Refunds will only be given under exceptional circumstances and will be considered on an individual basis.

     

    Cancellations by us: In the unlikely event that we have to cancel a workshop/course you will be given at least 24 hours notice and offered a transfer to another date or receive a full refund. We will not be held liable for any other costs or expenses that you may incur in the event of cancellation by us.
